History
The Norwegian Forest Cat is a quadruped with very ancient roots.
It plays a prominent part in Scandinavian mythology and folk sagas
and often plays a great role too in Nordic fables and folklore.
In some folk tales they are even called ,,Fairy Cats''.
This cat is since centuries at home in most northern countries,
but is called Norwegian because she was first acknowledged as a race in Norway. Indeed, in the seventies of the twentieth century the Norwegian Forest Cat
became a breed officially and since then this amiable cat has conquered the world
